Project Intro

Established in 2015, Lily Bain are a leading bathroom and tiling showroom based in Mountview Business Park, Newry, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. The choice of bathroom and tile products continues to grow and Lily Bain has noticed a growing demand for a diverse range of options. Lily Bain focus on bread and butter products as well as products with a technology slant i.e. bathroom televisions, digital showering solutions, blue tooth mirrors etc.

Project Description

Commerce9 successfully undertook the Magento2 Upgradation of GeeKay Games. It was a challenging task as there were a lot of custom modules with unorganised code base. All the outdated modules were upgraded and proper code standards recommended by Magento was restored. We also customised theme for them.
Commerce9 helped them solve business critical issues, thereby increasing the cinversion rate as well as site traffic. We conducted a Security Audit and fixed the Security Vulnerabilities and also incorporated Security Patches. The Digital Delivery Module was cutomised to improve the Transaction Checking System.

Our client already had a developed online store. However, the company needed to implement new features, eliminate shortcomings in existing ones, and fix bugs and crashes on the website. To fulfill these tasks, the company hired IntexSoft team.

Solution

The first task performed by IntexSoft specialists was migratation of the online store to a new version of the e-commerce platform OXID eShop.The creation and editing of goods in the online store are rendered into separate systems – Navision and censhare. The IntexSoft team had to synchronize the work of the online store with these systems. The SOAP protocol was used to implement the communication with Navision and censhare. The developers created modules for data import into the online store.The IntexSoft team developed features for discount code verification with Navision. Thanks to synchronization, the system offers an automatic discount to users who buy several products from one category.
